Website Accessibility Statement

The American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA®) is committed to providing a website that offers transparent communication accessible to the widest possible audience.

This website endeavors to comply with the W3C standards for HTML and CSS. It is designed with accessibility to all users with differing needs in mind. Web accessibility, regardless of disability, is an important means of sharing current and historical information. Access to the web can be impacted by many types of disabilities: visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological.

Access to technology can be even more important to those with disabilities than for the general population, who may have more accessibility to traditional information sources, such as printed materials.

Our intent is that the ADHA website presents information in a way that everyone can easily access, regardless of what systems they are using and how they navigate through the site.

Our goal is to continuously improve our site to meet the needs of all users. If you experience any difficulty with the accessibility of any web pages or documents, please contact the ADHA Marketing & Communications department so that we may assist in accommodating your needs.
