Student Membership

The American Dental Hygienists’ Association is here to support you and student membership at your dental hygiene program. We aim to make this as easy of a process as possible. Below are the two ways dental hygiene programs can go about paying for student membership.

The cost of student membership is $65 per student. More information about benefits can be found here.

Please note: Payments received between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019 will have a membership expiration date of December 31, 2019.

  • Individual Student Payments

      • Students can join as a student member and provide payment at that time. Simply have your students follow these steps:

        1. Go to mymembership.adha.org.

        2. Click “Join Now” and then “Create an Account.”

        3. Complete this page with your contact information and create a username and password.

        4. Pick “Student Membership” on the next screen.

        5. Complete the following page which requests an alternate email address and educational information (required).

        6. Continue on to finalize your membership and submit a payment with a credit card.

    • Group Payment

      • Student advisors can also submit a group payment for the students in their program. In order to do this, students must first create a web profile online by following these steps:

        1. Go to mymembership.adha.org.

        2. Click “Join Now” and then “Create an Account.”

        3. Complete this page with your contact information and create a username and password.

        4. Pick “Student Membership” on the next screen.

        5. Complete the following page which requests an alternate email address and educational information (required).

        6. To find your member ID number, click on the “Hi, ___” orange button at the top right-hand corner of the screen and your profile will be pulled up, which shows your member ID number.

        Once students have created an account online, they should provide their ADHA ID number to their student advisor. Student advisors then submit a roster of student names and ID numbers using this form to ADHA along with payment for all students.

ADHA will periodically send student membership rosters to student advisors to ensure that all students are accounted for. We ask that when received you check these over carefully to ensure that students’ information is correct and up to date. You can also request a roster any time by emailing student.relations@adha.net.
