From the minutes of the First Annual Meeting of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
September 12, 1923:
“Nominations for officers were then in order. Mrs. Hubert H. Hart of Bridgeport, Connecticut, was placed in nomination for President. VOTED: that the nominations close and the Secretary cast the ballot for Mrs. Hart. The ballot was cast and Mrs. Hart was duly elected First President of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.”
