Lancette VanGuilder, BS, RDH, PHEDH, CEAS, FADHA

Lancette VanGuilder, BS, RDH, PHEDH, CEAS, FADHA, of Sparks, Nevada, is the 2023-2024 Vice President of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA).

After graduating from the University of South Dakota in 1995, Lancette spent the last two decades actively involved in the dental industry as a speaker, author, clinician, lobbyist and public health advocate. She received advanced education for complete health dentistry, including sleep related disorderes, breathing disorders and brain health. She earned her Certificate in Alzheimer’s Prevention and Reversal, ReCODE, from Apollo Health and her training in airway health from Institute for Craniofacial Sleep Medicine. She is a past president of the Nevada Dental Hygienists Association and served on the ADHA board as the District XII Director from 2012-2016. 

Currently, Lancette serves as the clinical director for Sierra Sleep, Airway and Wellness Center in Reno, Nevada. She is also a complete health dental hygienist committed to improving practitioner and patient health while bridging the medical-dental divide. She is an internationally recognized continuing education speaker, a clinician, airway ambassador, business owner, non-profit founder, public health advocate and lobbyist/vaccinator and certified ergonomic assessment specialist. Lancette has received numerous awards for her contributions to dentistry.

Lancette is passionate about access to care, disease prevention and medical-dental integration. She is the co-founder of Abundant Life, a health and wellness hub, and The RISE Experience, supporting women entrepreneurs in healthcare. Lancette is a proud ADHA member and has served and been actively involved in the organization on a national, state and local level.
