Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for all Associate level scholarships. Please refer to specific scholarships for further requirements:
- Must be a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA).
- Must be enrolled in an accredited dental hygiene program in the United States.
- Must have completed at least 1 semester of a pre-Dental Hygiene or Dental Hygiene based curriculum.
- Students in their final year of their program are ineligible for funds, due to disbursement schedule.
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
Diann Bomkamp Leadership Scholarship
Awarded to a student, who is pursuing an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in the State of Missouri and is a leader in their Student ADHA Chapter. Also, the applicant should be an active volunteer in their community and will be required to submit an essay that highlights such work.

HuFriedy Group/Esther Wilkins Instrument Scholarship
This scholarship is sponsored by the HuFriedy Group and applicants will submit an additional essay that highlights candidates’ financial need. Award recipients will receive HuFriedy Group dental hygiene instruments of their choice, equivalent to a retail value of $1,000.

United Concordia Dental Scholarship (*new this year*)
This is a one-time annual scholarship for the 2027-2028, sponsored by United Concordia Dental. Applicants will submit and essay that demonstrates a passion for a career in a clinical setting, providing care to underserved populations.
