Christina Emmert, RDH, PHDH, PRP, FADHA

Christina Emmert, RDH, PHDH, PRP, FADHA is a lifelong resident of Rockford, Illinois where she lives with her husband of 28 years, Keith. A 1993 graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, Christina has dedicated her career to serving underserved populations as a clinical public health dental hygienist at Crusader Community Health Center in Rockford for the past 26 years. Her work aligns perfectly with Crusader’s mission to “serve with heart in hand” and provide essential services to those who need them most.

She has served as Secretary and President of the Winnebago Dental Hygienists Society component; President and Speaker of the House of the Illinois Dental Hygienists’ Association; ADHA Speaker of the House; Director of ADHA District VIII for three years as well as multiple roles on committees and as a delegate to ADHA before being elected as Vice President of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.

Her expertise in parliamentary procedure led her to earn certification as a Professional Registered Parliamentarian from the National Association of Parliamentarians, where she has also served in various capacities at the local, state, and national levels.

When not advancing her profession or serving her community through her clinical work, Christina volunteers her time in meaningful ways. She coaches youth runners with her local running group, walks dogs at the animal shelter, and helps with summertime concerts at the local music shell. She also enjoys travelling with her husband whenever possible.
