American Dental Hygienists’ Association Partners with Andau Medical to Advance Ergonomic Solutions for Dental Hygienists
New partnership focuses on reducing work-related injuries and promoting career longevity through innovative ergonomic technologies
CHICAGO, July 15, 2025 – The American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA®) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Andau Medical, a leading medical and dental device company specializing in ergonomic solutions. This collaboration marks Andau Medical’s first partnership with ADHA and will focus on advancing ergonomic awareness and supporting the health and well-being of dental hygienists nationwide.
Through this partnership, Andau Medical will serve as a sponsor of the ADHA Champion Program for two years. The company will work directly with the ADHA Champions, who are students and new professionals, to share content through their social media accounts. The partnership will also feature ergonomic product presentations and targeted communications to ADHA’s membership. Dental hygienists will have the opportunity to experience Andau Medical’s innovative ergonomic loupes firsthand when the company makes its debut at the 2025 ADHA Annual Conference in Long Beach, California, October 4-6.
“We’re excited to welcome Andau Medical as a new partner in our mission to support dental hygienists’ professional well-being and career longevity,” said Lancette VanGuilder, ADHA president. “Work-related musculoskeletal injuries are a significant concern in our profession, and access to quality ergonomic solutions can make a real difference in helping dental hygienists maintain healthy careers. This partnership aligns perfectly with ADHA’s commitment to advancing our members’ health and professional success.”
The partnership addresses a critical need within the dental hygiene profession, where work-related musculoskeletal injuries are common due to prolonged periods in awkward positions. Feedback from ADHA’s Annual Conference post-event surveys shows ergonomics continues to be a highly desired topic for continuing education among dental hygienists. Andau Medical’s ergonomic loupes are specifically designed to help dental professionals maintain neutral working positions, reducing strain on the eyes, neck, back, and shoulders.
“We’re honored to partner with the ADHA to help dental hygienists extend their careers and reduce daily pain and discomfort,” said Sandi Wright, CEO of Andau Medical. “What sets Andau apart is our ability to pair the most advanced innovative ergonomic products, such as loupes, with expert implementation into clinical practice. Our clinician-led team regularly hears how our Ergo Loupes relieve pain, improve posture, and—as one hygienist said—‘have changed my life.’”
Together, ADHA and Andau Medical aim to foster nationwide awareness of ergonomic solutions, drive engagement with advanced tools designed for clinical excellence, and provide dental hygienists with resources that enhance both professional well-being and patient care outcomes.
