American Dental Hygienists’ Association Names Jennifer Hill as Chief Executive Officer
Hill served as interim CEO since July 2023 following a leadership transition
CHICAGO, June 27, 2025—The American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) announced Thursday the appointment of Jennifer Hill as chief executive officer. Hill’s appointment to the permanent role follows her successful tenure as interim CEO since July 2023.
Hill brings 13 years of service with ADHA to the role and deep knowledge of the organization’s mission to unite and empower dental hygienists. Her previous ADHA positions include senior director of strategic operations and director of member engagement, where she led initiatives to drive organizational growth, streamline operations and enhance member value. As interim CEO, Hill has overseen strategic initiatives to increase federal advocacy and expand support for state efforts, modernize ADHA’s governance structure and expand alliances through strategic partnerships.
Hill’s career spans 25 years in senior-level roles within association management, primarily within healthcare organizations. Her leadership centers on innovation, operational excellence and empowering professional communities.
“I am honored to step into the role of CEO at a time when our profession faces new challenges and opportunities,” Hill said. “The dental hygiene profession is evolving rapidly, and it is more important than ever that we adapt, advocate and lead with a clear vision. My immediate priorities include leading the organization into its next strategic plan this fall, focusing on autonomy for the profession and improving key infrastructure to enhance the member experience. I look forward to working alongside our members and partners to create a strong, sustainable future for our profession.”
