Silver Diamine Flouride Provisions by State
According to the rules and as governed by their state medical and/or dental practice acts, dental hygienists may be permitted to apply fluorides and SDF. Dental hygienists in most states whose Medicaid programs cover SDF application may be permitted to apply SDF under the same authorization or restrictions as other topical fluorides.
