What is a Hygienist Inspired Ambassador?
Hygienist Inspired Ambassadors are trusted messengers and role models who engage with patients about careers in dental hygiene. Each state participating in the Hygienist Inspired program supports an average of three Ambassadors who have applied for the important role of leading the initiative in their area.
Due to the level of commitment required, Ambassadors receive an annual stipend. attend in-person expenses-paid training and agree to plan an ongoing and active role in the recruitment program.
Education and marketing resources are provided, as Ambassadors cultivate connections, conduct presentations and train other hygienists to have effective chairside conversations with prospective dental hygiene students. It’s a lot of work, but it’s very rewarding!
The Role of Ambassador

- Collect and reporting program data
- Identify opportunities for expanding the profession and the Hygienist Inspired program nationwide
