ADHA Urges CODA to Implement Dual-Track Accreditation
CODA’s mission is to serve the oral health care needs of the public through the development and administration of dental health standards. Unfortunately, the proposed accreditation does not meet these criteria.
ADHA urges the Commission to develop dental therapy standards for a dental hygiene-based dental therapy track. We urge the Commissioners to fully develop accreditation standards that reflect the progress and current practice.
ADHA is encouraging members to send written comments to the Commission, which will be heard during open hearings held throughout the year. Comments are due December 1, 2013, and can be sent via email or mail:
