Headquarters American Dental Hygienists’ Association to Accept It’s now easier than ever to be an ADHA member. Starting October 1, 2009, a new easy-pay option will be available to anyone paying their ADHA dues. This electronic payment system will provide a new option to current, former and potential members allowing them to pay in quarterly installments. Automatic yearly payments will also be available for renewing in the future. “We have heard loud and clear from both members and nonmembers on the benefit of providing a payment plan option,” ADHA President said Lynn Ramer, LDH. “ADHA recognizes the economic hardships that are currently affecting not only dental hygiene professionals but the country as a whole and is thrilled to offer this new service to help our members. ADHA encourages anyone wishing to take advantage of this new offering to visit: http://payments.adha.org for complete details. In addition, this new program offers our members the opportunity to go green,” said Ramer. “Those members who are enrolled in the quarterly payment plan or sign up for annual automatic renewal will no longer receive a paper billing invoice. We hope to take the savings from printing and postage costs and use them for programs that are designed to further empower, support and develop our members.” Any questions should be directed to ADHA Division of Member Services by calling (312) 440-8900 or member.services@adha.net.
Happy National Dental Hygiene Month! National Dental Hygiene Month (NDHM) in October 2009 will continue to focus on the oral health of the entire family with the theme “A Healthy Smile Lasts a Lifetime.”
