The Journal of Dental Hygiene Now On PubMed

The American Dental Hygienists’ Association is delighted to announce that the Journal of Dental Hygiene (JDH), its quarterly refereed scientific journal, which is published exclusively online, is now available among other highly reputable online medical/health journals in PubMed—a widely recognized online research depository.

PubMed is a service of the National Library of Medicine that offers more than 16 million citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s. PubMed includes links to full text articles and other related resources.

By JDH articles published since 1988 searchable in PubMed, ADHA is offering a useful research tool to its members and JDH subscribers. Searches can be conducted based on keywords, author names, titles, publication, publication date, etc., which makes it easy to find articles related to a specific line of research.

Providing cutting-edge research reports and education philosophy written and reviewed by the recognized leaders in the dental hygiene profession, JDH is published exclusively online in a referential database format to make it easily accessible and useful for research purposes. Readers are able to click on specific article elements (headlines, abstracts, body, editorials, tables, photos) and be linked directly, which offers unparalleled searching capabilities.

To access JDH online, go to the Publications Page of ADHA Online. For questions about JDH, please contact Katie Barge, JDH staff editor, 312-440-8934 or katieb@adha.net.
