ADHA 2005 Summer Student Internship Program Winners Announced

On May 6, 2005, the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) announced Kandis Garland, RDH, BS and JoAnn Weatherwax, RDH as winners of ADHA Summer Student Internship Program.

Kandis is currently enrolled in the Master’s Degree program at the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry where she is Co-SADHA advisor and adjunct assistant clinical professor. She is an active member and former delegate of the Minnesota Dental Hygienists’ Association and volunteers her services at the Uptown Community Clinic.

JoAnn is a Degree Completion, Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry and Clinical Supervisor for Osceola County Health Department. She is a member of the Florida Dental Hygienists’ Association, where she served as a student delegate from 1998-1999, and the Greater Orlando Dental Hygienists’ Association serving as Vice President in 2002.
