Erin Tintzman Wins 2005 ADHA Future Leader Award

Chicago—July 7, 2005—The American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) has named Erin Tintzman, RDH, of Kalispell, Mont., as the recipient of the 2005 ADHA Future Leader Award.

The award was created to recognize dental hygienists who exhibit a strong commitment to the dental hygiene profession and have demonstrated leadership in ADHA within five years of graduation. Tintzman was nominated by her state organization, the Montana Dental Hygienists’ Association (MDHA).

Tintzman graduated with her bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Colorado in Denver, and has been an active member with ADHA since 2001. She has served as an officer for the MDHA since 2002.

Tintzman was honored at the opening ceremonies of ADHA’s 82nd annual session in Las Vegas on June 25th.

ADHA is the largest national organization representing the professional interests of more than 120,000 dental hygienists across the country. Dental hygienists are preventive oral health professionals, licensed in dental hygiene, who provide educational, clinical and therapeutic services that support total health through the promotion of optimal oral health.
