American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) has named Kristy
Menage Bernie, RDH, BS, of San Ramon, Calif., as a recipient of
the 2005 ADHA Distinguished Service Award.
The award recognizes outstanding achievement
and dedication to the profession of dental hygiene.

in dental hygiene from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College
of Dental Surgery in 1984 while graduating Magna Cum Laude. Following
graduation she practiced in a number of clinical settings including

company.

ADHA. She is a past president of the California Dental Hygienists’
Association (CDHA), a CDHA delegate to ADHA. On the national level
