| ADHA Launches New
Online Job Search Service
Chicago—May 1, 2008—The
American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) is pleased
to announce that on May 8, 2008, the association will launch its
new interactive job board, the ADHA Career Center. With its focus
on a wide range of dental hygiene positions including clinical,
education, corporate, etc, the ADHA Career Center offers the dental
hygiene profession at large an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource
for online employment connections.
“We’re very excited about the
launch of the ADHA Career Center; we know how critical it is for
dental employers to attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure
of time and resources,” said Jean Connor, RDH, ADHA President.
“And it’s important for ADHA to be a major career resource
to help enable smooth career transitions for dental hygienists seeking
jobs.”
Both association members and non-members
can use the ADHA Career Center to seek potential career matches.
Employers can post jobs, search for qualified candidates based on
specific job criteria, and create an online resume agent to email
qualified candidates daily. They also benefit from online reporting
which provides job activity statistics.
For job seekers, the ADHA Career Center is
a free service which provides access to a variety of job postings
in the dental hygiene industry. In addition to posting their resumes,
job seekers can browse available jobs based on personalized criteria
and save those jobs for later review if they choose. Job seekers
can also create a search agent to provide email notifications of
jobs that match their criteria. The ADHA Career Center can be found
at http://careers.adha.org.
ADHA is the largest national organization
representing the professional interests of more than 150,000 dental
hygienists across the country. Dental hygienists are preventive
