The 2004 Institute Gala and Auction was held on Friday, June 25, 2004 at the ADHA Annual Session in Dallas, TX. The theme for the event was "All That Jazz." Attendees joined their colleagues for an elegant evening of cocktails and dinner, bid on items at the sixth annual silent auction, and relaxed and danced to musical entertainment.

All proceeds from the gala (silent auction raised over $19,000) benefitted the many programs the Institute oversees, including both the scholarship and research grant programs. The co-sponsors of this year's event were GlaxoSmithKline and DENTSPLY PROFESSIONAL.
