The 2002 Institute Gala and Auction was held on Friday, June 22, 2002 at the ADHA Annual Session in Beverly Hills, CA. Attendees strolled down the red carpet with their favorite stars to the year's "A Star Studded Evening" theme, joined their colleagues for an elegant evening of cocktails and dinner, bid on items at the fourth annual silent/live auction, and relaxed and danced to musical entertainment.

All proceeds from the gala benefitted the many programs the Institute oversees, including both the scholarship and research grant programs. The co-sponsors of this year's event were GlaxoSmithKline and DENTSPLY PROFESSIONAL.
