“I am an active duty AF RDH and currently there are only 22 of us AF wide! The ADHA convention gives us AF RDHs an opportunity to also network with each other and find out what we are each doing at our respective bases in reference to clinical, community and family dentistry. I was very excited to see that this year there are several CEs with labs in them; for me hands on is sometimes the what puts everything into perspective. I also liked the fact that courses were offered more than once.”
Harold Henson, RDH, MEd
Educator; Has attended Annual Session for 9 years
“I liked the way the CE sessions were organized into tracks that encompass the different roles of the dental hygienist. This meeting has so much to offer to students, clinical practitioners, and faculty. In addition, professional development courses are also playing a critical role in “Unleashing your Potential”. The color-coded schedule was easy to read. I’m looking forward to the tours of Albuquerque!”

First time attending annual session as a
practicing dental hygienist
“I want to become more involved with the dental hygiene community. I love the ideas you’ve implemented in this meeting. ADHA has been very responsive to what hygienists need and are asking for. I had a hard time choosing among all the great courses offered! I’m very excited about this meeting.”
Barbi Lynch, RDH
Member, practicing 20+ years
“I like the addition of all the continuing education at this year’s meeting. There’s something for everyone: networking opportunities, continuing education, association business, and opportunities to stay in touch with what’s happening in our profession. I’ve also always wanted to go to New Mexico.”

Marie Navickis, BSDH, RDH
Educator and first-time attendee
“As a member of the ADHA, I felt comfortable choosing the Center for Life Long Learning Conference. I especially liked the CE's specifically geared towards faculty. We struggle with calibration issues for clinic faculty and I am always looking for new ideas.”

First-time attendee who has been practicing for less than a year
“I am very much looking forward to the annual session, it will be my first and I am getting very excited. The Continuing Ed offered at this meeting includes things to help me as a person AND hygienist, not just how to deal with my patients. I also like the fact that this meeting allows me to take all my CE in one fell swoop!”
Stephanie Andrews, RDH, BS
New Member of ADHA, practicing for 15 years

“I was interested in attending because I want to become more involved in ADHA and also saw that you were offering a course on how the process of inventing products happens. I have several ideas but never knew how to get them marketed and out to the right people. I am very excited about the upcoming annual session.”
